This is the story of how my sister and I created the I Am A Winner journal—a journey that began in 2018 with a single mission: to help women celebrate their progress, embrace self-worth, and develop a positive mindset.
The Spark Behind the Journal
Back in 2018, we were leading a mastermind community for women in Pakistan. We met incredible women—entrepreneurs, creatives, students, and professionals—achieving extraordinary things. But there was a common thread: no matter how much they accomplished, they still felt like they weren’t doing enough.
Anxiety. Sleepless nights. Constantly chasing “more” without feeling fulfilled.
I struggled with it, too. So, we introduced a daily reflection challenge, asking women to pause and acknowledge at least one win per day. The results were immediate and powerful. Women felt seen, lighter, and more grounded. They finally began appreciating their journey.
From Digital Idea to Physical Product
Our first thought was a digital calendar for tracking wins. But, Etsy wasn’t available in Pakistan, and selling digital products online became a roadblock. So, we shifted gears and started designing a physical journal.
We explored manufacturing options in China, but the high shipping costs were unsustainable. Eventually, we partnered with local manufacturers in Pakistan. We tested materials, adjusted designs, and finally launched the first version of the I Am A Winner journal—funded by a loan from our eldest sister.
The Pause That Fueled a Comeback
We were thrilled when orders started rolling in. But soon, living in Saudi Arabia while managing operations in Pakistan proved to be difficult. Logistics, shipping delays, and remote management became overwhelming. Reluctantly, we put the journal project on pause.
Everything went into storage—but not out of our hearts.
Last year, everything changed. With more experience, better systems, and a stronger vision, I knew I had to revive the journal. I believed in it more than ever.
