So, today is going to be an EPIC article that literally changed my life for good – in terms of productivity and growth in business and life alike. Trust me when I say that only saying or writing positive affirmations have not only revolutionized my life but there are millions of people that are benefiting from them every single day.
So, what are those, how do we get started and how do they actually work?

In the age of social media, we often fall into the trap of waiting for others’ approval to feel happy. Sometimes, we get stuck into the vortex of unhappiness and self-doubt because we believe external factors are more important that the internal ones for our happiness. Positive self-affirmations can be used to get out of this harmful pattern of thinking. All you need is to remember that you’ve been blessed with a power within yourself that can transform your life; your mind.
So What Are Positive Affirmations?
Affirmations are statements you repeat to yourself until your subconscious starts believing in them.
Most of our inner barriers come from our own distorted self-image.
Maybe you want to be more self-confident, talented, successful, and attractive, but your self-doubts aren’t letting you feel more attractive and confident, or be more successful. Affirmations help you cleanse your subconscious of these limiting beliefs and transform your life.
Even neuroscience confirms that positive affirmations can be really helpful in achieving various goals. It is believed that if they’re repeated consistently, positive affirmations can reinforce a chemical pathway in the brain.

On the contrary, once you develop the habit of using affirmations, you’ll feel closer to your spiritual self. This way, affirmations not only help you with your goals, but also assist you in fighting stress and unhappiness. So here’s how you can start using positive affirmations in only three steps, and step onto the path of transformation.
1. Recognize and Acknowledge Your Goals and Inner Barriers
“What” and “Why” are the most important stages of this process. Recognize what you really need or want to achieve and acknowledge the internal barriers and limiting beliefs that are sabotaging your efforts for becoming more self-confident and successful, or are stopping you from feeling happy and contented.
Write down the goals you want to achieve. Maybe it’s losing weight or just feeling more attractive. Maybe you have a business you want to grow, or unlock your self-confidence and leadership abilities. Or probably, you just want to feel good about your life in general and stop being so stressed out all the time. It doesn’t matter what kind of goals and objectives you have – positive affirmations can help with them all.
2. Develop Your Positive Affirmations
Once you’ve decided what goals you want to achieve, you can develop some easy and concise positive affirmations. You can Google for positive affirmations to get an idea and tailor your own affirmations according to your goals and needs. Use the word-choices that speak the most to you.
Here are few examples of positive affirmations.
- I am beautiful and I feel beautiful.
- I make healthy eating choices.
- I deserve to be happy. I embrace my right of being happy.
- I am living in the moment. I am embracing peace and contentment.
- I am being surrounded by countless new opportunities.
- My heart is overflowing with love.
- I embrace the fact that I am loved and I deserve to be loved.
- I am attracting more success and achievements every day.
You can use these affirmations as they are, or develop your own affirmations. It’s all about what you’re aiming for.
3. Develop the Habit of Repeating Affirmations to Yourself
Now, when you have your own set of positive affirmations, you’ll need to repeat them to yourself and make a habit of it. You can repeat them in your head, or say them out loud, use whatever method you feel comfortable with.
BEWARE: Don’t expect the affirmations to start working in a few days. The point of these affirmations is to tune into your subconscious. By being desperate and stressed out, you’ll only slow down the process.
Repeat the affirmations to yourself in the morning, and in the night before going to sleep. You can also say these affirmations out loud to yourself as you look at yourself in the mirror. Repeat them at least 3-4 times a day daily to develop a strong habit.
Transformation begins the moment you set your mind to do something. Affirmations are an amazing way to become more focused towards your goals or the behaviors you want to alter.
