Does Having a Morning Routine Really Make Us Successful?

morning routine

Hi there!

Today, we’re talking about something we all experience somewhat similarly, somewhat differently; morning routine.

Believe it or not, but this one simple thing can make all the difference in our lives.

How? Keep reading and I’ll explain it to you.

How Does Having A Smart Morning Routine Make You a Champion of Self-Growth?

Morning is the most incredible and serene part of our day.

It doesn’t matter if you’re a night owl or a morning person – most of us have to get up early in the morning to catch up with work or college.

Some of us start off our mornings with a steaming hot cup of coffee or tea and for some, a perfect morning means having a hearty breakfast. In any case, a properly thought out morning routine is extremely important for your self-growth and productivity.

Does getting up early sound boring? Not wanting to get up early in the morning itself is a sign that we’re lacking something, and that something is the energy and motivation we need to rock our days.

Unhealthy routines are made to be broken. If you make up your mind to take action and create a healthy morning routine, you’re one step closer to a more successful and productive life.

Here are few ways a healthy morning routine can speed up your process of self-growth, making you more successful:

1. A Healthy Morning Routine Helps You Take Control of Your Life

It all begins with the mornings. If you’re able to take control of your morning habits, the rest of the day is going to be your friend, not an enemy. The more you’re able to set a positive morning routine and act on it, the more your faith in yourself and your will-power will increase.

Self-growth begins with the knowledge that only YOU can make a real difference in your life.

Being able to mold your habits according to your goals is a great ability. In the beginning, it will seem hard to develop it, but even if it takes time, have faith that you have the ability to develop the habits you’re determined to develop.

2. Feel Healthier Physically and Rock Your Day

We all know that getting up early is great for our physical health. Here are few morning routines you can adopt for a better health:

  1. Drink up a cup of soothing green tea, black coffee, or ginger tea. It will not only make you feel fresh and boost your mood but will also help you stay fit and drop some kilos if that’s  your goal.
  2. Go out in the sun and move those joints. Seriously, a walk or jogging in the park is the best gift you can give to yourself as a morning routine. It will keep you active for the rest of the day and will provide oxygen to your body that’s crucial for it.
  3. No time to go outside? Grab that yoga mat.

3. A Healthy Mind Means a Healthy Life

The best thing about forming a great routine for your mornings is that it helps you get healthier mentally. You’re in a certain state of mind in the morning when you leave your bed. It’s important to use that fresh and less-stressed-out state of mind to maximize your self-growth and productivity. Here are few ways you can achieve this:

  1. Meditation is a great way to start your mornings. It’s not something you need special equipment or complex philosophical explanations for. Just start with breathing exercises and mindfulness.
  2. Positive affirmations in the morning can transform the way you perceive yourself and your life. Not only do they make you more productive, but also help your subconscious overcome many inner barriers. Wondering how to get started with affirmations? Check out our guide on using positive affirmations here.
  3. Again, get out in the sun. It will help both your brain and body get all the oxygen they need. And when you go out and see other people, it’ll also help you overcome social awkwardness.

4. An Organized Life Is The First Step Towards Success

Look around and you’ll see that if there’s one thing all successful and productive people have in common, it’s being organized.

And what can be a better beginning of an organized life than forming a morning routine?

Imagine how much can you give to your body and your mind by only dedicating one hour for them in the morning! Just by choosing to get up and start off your day with a routine that’s productive and fulfilling, you’re stepping into the mindset that will help you be a more organized person.

5. A Sense of Worthiness and Self-Care

By choosing not to be lazy or starting off your day like it’s just another dull, boring day, you’re telling yourself that you are indeed, someone special.

If you don’t indulge in self-care, you transmit a negative message to your system – that you’re not worthy of love and care. This lowers your sense of worthiness which is reflected in everything you do and every choice you make for yourself.

By deciding to have a healthy morning routine, you’re telling yourself ‘Hey, my time and my life are special, so the beginning of my day should also be special.’

A heightened self-esteem and positive attitude are what will eventually help you achieve all you want.
